Awards Hall of Fame Show at the Stardust in Las Vegas.
Terry is an National DJ All Star for
Mobile Beat Magazine for
the 5th time.

DJ Terry Moran picked for the 4th time in 6 years
as a National DJ All Star by
Mobile Beat Magazine! He performs at the National DJ
Convention at the Tropicana in Las Vegas to a crowd of over
1,000 people.
Las Vegas, NV - March 30, 2002 -- Some
of the world’s top nightclub disc jockeys
gathered in Las Vegas, NV during the
International DJ Showcase held in conjunction
with the Nightclub & Bar Expo March 2th - 26th,
2003. The event took place Wednesday evening
March 26th at Studio 54 which is
located inside the MGM Grand Hotel.
"This
event showcases a wide variety of DJ talent
from across the U.S. and internationally,"
said Wyatt Magnum, President of CMS and event
producer.
The DJ Showcase format spotlights a variety of
DJ’s spinning an eclectic mix of music from
house to techno, retro, top 40, hip-hop and
R&B. Each DJ was given 30 minutes to showcase
their skills for the crowd of more than 5,000.
“Our goal is to bring together DJ’s
from different parts of the world with different
musical styles to present a very exciting night
of entertainment. No rules, just beats.”
added Magnum.

JAM MASTER JAY 1965-2002 I have to give my respects here
to Jam Master Jay, the inspirational DJ from RUN
DMC that passed away this month. JMJ was
the first DJ I ever heard from a performance
point of view. I loved all of his work and
all of the little things he did to add to the
music of RUN DMC. I am a DJ today because
of Jay's work. I was lucky enough to go see
him 2 years ago in Boston, and only had a few
seconds to exchange pleasantries. I wish I
had a minute or 2 more to explain how much of an
influence he was to me and all my DJ friends.
Besides being a fantastic DJ, he was more
importantly a fantastic person, and a member of a
rap group that never glorified sex or violence.
Since his passing, every time I play I have a
small candle lit somewhere in the booth.
